5K for Mental Health Awareness
About:
The 5K for Mental Health Awareness, co-hosted by Central Lakes College and Crow Wing Energized, aims to highlight the importance of mental health in the community. Proceeds from the event are directed toward local mental health organizations or nonprofits, as well as a CLC program such as the CLC Food Pantry. This initiative fosters awareness while providing tangible support to CLC students and the local community.
The event:
The 5K for Mental Health Awareness takes place on the last Saturday in April at 9 a.m.
The race begins and ends at the CLC Brainerd campus and features a community resource fair, showcasing local mental health support and services. Join us to promote awareness and action for mental health!

Registration Information:
– 5k Run or 1 Mile Walk: $25 through December 15 and $30 through April 24; Race day $35
– Student pricing (5th-12th Grade and CLC students) 5k Run or 1 Mile Walk: $10 through April 24; Race day $15
– 5k Run or 1 Mile Walk WITHOUT a shirt: $20
– Kids 10 and under free (No shirt included)
– Shirt only: $15
Schedule:
– Packet pickup will be available from 3:30-5pm the Friday before race day at Central Lakes College. Or, you can pick it up Saturday morning (race day) starting at 7:30 am.
– 5k run will start at 9am, with the 1 mile walk to immediately follow.
-Race awards start at about 10am. Awards go to top male, top female and the overall nonbinary racer. All participants will receive a finisher sticker to commemorate participation.
